For my son.

We like colors.

Pattern: basic sock
Yarn: Novita Nalle Colori, colored (877)
Needles: 3 mm

I'd been saving this skein for something special. This was the first time I knitted a short row heel and maybe the last one, too. These are ok but reinforced heels just fit better.

Little Child's Socks.

For a year or so our son has told that his favorite color is pink. We had no idea why until a couple of weeks ago he finally revealed it: his mother often wears pink and he loves her ♥ When I asked him to pick a color for his new socks, he chose pink.

Pattern: modified from Little Child's Socks by Nancy Bush (in Knitting Vintage Socks)
Yarn: SandnesGarn Sisu, pink (4517)
Needles: 2 ½ mm DPN


These socks’ sole is 17 cm instead of 23 cm (in the book). I also started with 56 stitches because 72 was way too much.

Still these turned out way too big.

The roses I got for our fifth wedding day 7th May and Mother's Day 9th May.
