I'm finally back on track. My hands aren't co-operating like before but I can do something. Last weeks were a nightmare - I couldn't do anything by myself. I couldn't knit, sew, chop my own meal or even go to the shower by myself. My husband couldn't stay at home for more than two days but luckily I had a lot of help from my mother and my friends. So thank you everyone again!
But finally I was allowed to go home without the orthopedic casts. Probably one of the first things I did was knitting and so I finished this lovely new scarf. It's the first one that I made of Madelinetosh yarns and let me just say: Wohoo! This yarn is amazing. So soft and enjoyable to knit. After this I can easily understand why it's so hard to get more tosh merino light at least here in Finland.
Pattern: Secret of Change by Veera Välimäki (Ravelry)
Yarn: Madelinetosh tosh merino light, candlewick
Needles: 4.00 mm
2 skeins
I had to bind off about four rows earlier than in the pattern because of the yarn but that doesn’t matter. This is actually a scarf that could go on and go on as far as you want. So keep this pattern in mind.
Veera, you did it again!
Voi kuola, mikä aurinkohuivi! Mulle kanssa tämmöinen! :D
ReplyDeleteAivan upea huivi! Lanka ja malli mätsäävät kyllä todella hyvin.
